Come sing with us.
CommuniTree is a community song circle. We gather to sing simple songs in harmony, and to feel more connected to ourselves and to each other. No auditions, and no experience needed.
Something opens when we sing together.
When voices blend in harmony, something shifts. You stop worrying about how you sound and start listening. Your voice finds its place beside someone else's, and for a few minutes you're held by the sound of the whole room.
So many of us spend our days at screens, working alone, a little cut off from the people around us. Singing in a circle is a way back to each other. A song can steady you, lift you, or give you words you needed to hear. Sometimes it loosens something you've been carrying for a long time.
People laugh in the circle, and sometimes they cry. All of it is welcome.
Songs that help us remember
We sing about gratitude, for the earth and for each other, and about the wonder of being alive. Many of our songs are reminders we want to carry through the week: to slow down, to be here now, to be gentle with ourselves.
They're short enough to learn by ear in a few minutes and rich enough to open into three or four harmonies. Some come from songwriters we love. Some are our own.
What we hope you take home

Whatever your race, gender, or orientation, and whatever you believe or don't, you belong here. That includes trans and nonbinary folks.
